Helen is the younger sister of one of our previous clients from years ago. When she first reached out, we couldn’t have been more excited to work with her! Reuniting with her family was a blast, and meeting Mike's crew was the icing on the cake. Everyone got ready at the Intercontinental, with their huge rooms overlooking Boston Harbor. What began as a drizzly October day eventually became a beautiful afternoon.
Anna & Brett’s wedding day started off like most of our weddings in 2023 - rainy and gray. Thankfully, before the first look, the rain stopped but that wasn’t the end of the waterworks. Brett was tearing up even before seeing Anna in eager anticipation of seeing her in her dress. He expressed to us that he was most looking forward to marrying Anna. His love for her was all-encompassing and they had a beautiful moment together of laughter and tears. We then walked around the gorgeous gardens of Elm Bank, taking in the vibrant seasonal flowers and ivy. The wedding party and family joined soon after and we took portraits in the Italianate Garden, next to the hydrangeas which were sporting a perfectly fall muted pink color.
Claire and Thomas’ elegant wedding at the State Room in Boston was a beautiful testament to their love story. The day began at the exquisite Langham Hotel in Boston. Alli & Colby wanted a picturesque beach wedding at a venue that was special to them. Colby grew up going to the beach at the Dunes Club and they often enjoyed summers together by the pool. I also have been going to the Dunes Club my entire life, so it’s a very sentimental place for me as well, and was so fun to be able to capture a wedding there! Alli got ready inside the clubhouse while Colby got ready at a nearby bed and breakfast. There was a thick fog over the water that ended up slowly dissipating as the day wore on. They came together for their first look in the garden. There, they read their own vows to each other. Afterwards, we took a walk around the club grounds from the bathhouses to the cabanas to the front lawn for some photos. Then it was time to tuck away for the ceremony.
Victoria & Christian’s wedding came together with classic and sophisticated designs mixed with the joy and fun of their energetic family and friends. They got ready at The Graduate Hotel in Providence (formally the Biltmore). The couple met at Providence College, so it only made sense that they would celebrate their wedding day in the place where their story began. They even chose to have their ceremony at the storied Saint Dominic’s Chapel on the campus of Providence College. After the heartfelt Catholic mass, they kissed and ran out the door and began cheering and celebrating - just the two of them before all their guests exited the Church. It’s such a wonderful thing to see a couple who are truly overjoyed about being officially married.
Julia and Sean will be getting married at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston’s seaport next August so clearly the ocean plays an important role in their lives. S&M had an incredible wedding weekend with everything taking place in Lincoln Massachusetts, the location of their home. S&M got ready at their beautiful home, surrounded by their two families, their sweet baby, two well-behaved dogs, and their lounging cat. S put on her gorgeous dress, which was the perfect design for a garden wedding with intricate floral work. They opted to not have a very traditional day, so they got ready together and then headed over to the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, a short 5-minute drive away.
This couple wanted something seemingly paradoxical. They wanted a wedding that didn’t feel like a wedding and they wanted everything to be casual but also black tie-formal. Rather than conforming to the usual formalities, E and C decided that their focus would be on candid moments, their close-knit family, their cherished friends, gourmet food, and the utmost fun. Their intention was clear: they wanted to create an atmosphere that exuded warmth and intimacy.
