Helen is the younger sister of one of our previous clients from years ago. When she first reached out, we couldn’t have been more excited to work with her! Reuniting with her family was a blast, and meeting Mike's crew was the icing on the cake. Everyone got ready at the Intercontinental, with their huge rooms overlooking Boston Harbor. What began as a drizzly October day eventually became a beautiful afternoon. After getting ready, we all transported to Our Lady of Help Church in Newton, where Helen’s family has been attending for years. Their ceremony was sweet, and with a kiss, they were wed!
We were originally going to take portraits at the Boston Public Gardens; however, a major renovation of the gardens spoiled our plans. Thankfully, we found out in time to switch gears and instead drive to the Arnold Arboretum. The foliage was stunning as we wandered the gardens, capturing family, wedding party, and couple photos amongst the ivy and colorful leaves.
We then transported back to the Intercontinental Boston for their cocktail hour. We didn’t miss a beat as they were able to fully enjoy with their guests, indulging in delicious canapés. Once the reception began, we could tell it was going to be a fun crowd, with everyone up out of their seats cheering. The dances were beautiful, and then we transitioned into an epic dance party with everyone joining the fun. We were so honored to be a part of this wedding and thoroughly enjoyed seeing familiar faces once again!
