Sarah and Amanda's winter wedding at the Mansion on Turner Hill was a beautiful and emotional affair. As the couple got ready for the big day, they took a moment to read love-filled letters they had written to each other. They each gave each other a gift - Sarah sang a beautiful song for Amanda and Amanda gave her a piece of heirloom artwork that she had been eying by a talented artist.
They had their first look outside in the formal gardens. It was a brisk December day but they were both filled with so much happiness that the cold air didn't matter. My favorite photo was when Amanda could hear Sarah's footsteps behind her before the first look. Her anticipation for that moment cannot be put into words! We then walked around the mansion as the sun was setting, taking photos with the wedding party and family. The lightest of snow flurries could be seen just as we were about to head back inside for their ceremony
The ceremony itself was filled with so much love. The two exchanged personalized vows, promising to love and support each other for the rest of their lives. As they exchanged rings, there wasn't a dry eye in the room. After the ceremony, the reception was held in the grand ballroom of the mansion. The room was elegantly decorated with rich greenery, creating a festive atmosphere. As the night wore on, Sarah and Amanda danced the night away, surrounded by their loved ones, it was clear that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of love and happiness for the newlyweds.
HOW THEY MET
The love story between Sarah and Amanda didn't start on their wedding day. It began five years earlier when the couple took their first trip together to Paso Robles, California to visit one of their favorite vineyards. It was on that trip that their love for each other truly blossomed. Fast forward to July 2021, when Amanda surprised Sarah with a trip back to Paso Robles. It was there, in the same spot where they had fallen in love, that Amanda got down on one knee and proposed.
But Amanda wasn't done surprising Sarah yet. She had invited their families and best friends from all over the country to join them in celebrating their engagement. It was a beautiful and emotional moment for the couple, surrounded by the people they loved most.
