Victoria & Christian’s wedding came together with classic and sophisticated designs mixed with the joy and fun of their energetic family and friends. They got ready at The Graduate Hotel in Providence (formally the Biltmore). The couple met at Providence College, so it only made sense that they would celebrate their wedding day in the place where their story began. They even chose to have their ceremony at the storied Saint Dominic’s Chapel on the campus of Providence College. After the heartfelt Catholic mass, they kissed and ran out the door and began cheering and celebrating - just the two of them before all their guests exited the Church. It’s such a wonderful thing to see a couple who are truly overjoyed about being officially married.
We then walked around the campus and took family, wedding party, and couple photos. Much like most of our 2023 weddings, it has been raining earlier in the day but as luck had it, the sky parted and the sun shined through the clouds to bless Victoria and Christian. We can’t think of two more deserving souls to have an unexpectedly beautiful wedding day. After that, we all headed back to The Graduate in Providence for their cocktail hour. Before joining their guests, we took a few photos in the famous lobby and on the roof deck just as the sun was setting and reflecting off the buildings.
Their reception was stunning, perfectly planned by Elizabeth Quill of Elegant Aura Events. Every detail was meticulously planned, from the intricate floral displays on the tables to the ornate white feathers that adorned them. The Graduate Hotel, with its panoramic view of the capital building, provided a breathtaking backdrop for the celebration. As the evening progressed, the sky painted itself in hues of warm orange and pink, creating a stunning sunset that added a touch of romance to the already enchanting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the live painter capturing the magical moments as they unfolded.
Once the dancing began, the high energy never stopped. The dance floor was packed all night long with the guests having the time of their lives. You can tell how much this couple was loved by all with the gusto that their family and friends danced with them. This was one of those days that didn’t feel like work, it felt like being welcomed like family with open arms.
