Cara and PJ wanted their wedding to be a getaway experience for their guests at a place that felt rustic and adventurous, yet still luxurious. PJ loves the mountains so when they visited Mountain Top in Vermont and saw the beautiful vistas surrounding the property, they knew it was a perfect match. Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Vermont, Mountain Top offered everything they desired: charming cabins, a rejuvenating spa, horseback riding adventures, a secluded lakeside beach, and exquisite dining options.

Cara and PJ began getting ready in separate cabins with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Once everyone was dressed, we seized the opportunity to capture some candid moments against the picturesque backdrop of Vermont's countryside. We then took the short drive to the center of the property for their ceremony - a huge open field with 360 views of the mountains. They had such a sweet ceremony and got to celebrating right after saying “I do". By opting out of a first look, Cara and PJ savored the magic of seeing each other for the first time at the altar and couldn’t wait to celebrate afterward!

Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed their cocktail hour outside, as the sun was starting to go down and everyone was enjoying the view outside with drinks and apps. We then moved inside the barn for their reception. Cara has a keen eye for detail and every element of the decor was thoughtfully designed. The space looked impeccable as the reception began. The dancing was next level and we had such a fantastic time capturing all the wild moves! This wedding was so memorable and fun, we really enjoyed our experience in Vermont and look forward to returning again!

THEIR STORY

They met by a campfire over the summer of 2019 with mutual friends playing games and roasting smores. On one of their first vacations, down in Punta Cana, Pete proposed. He planned a photo shoot on the beach by the water and he told the photographer he was planning on proposing and asked him to capture the moment.
