Julia and Sean’s wedding was a day full of personal touches and meaningful moments, set against two iconic Boston locations. The couple met during their time at Babson College, where Sean captained the baseball team and Julia excelled in cross-country and track. Their connection grew through shared activities, mutual friends, and a strong sense of camaraderie.

M&B’s wedding at the stunning Boston Harbor Hotel was truly a standout event that was beautifully elegant. They chose the Boston Harbor Hotel as the backdrop for their big day, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The day started with the couple getting ready at the hotel. One of the most memorable parts of the day was the first look by the harbor. We then strolled along the harbor walk, capturing intimate moments against the picturesque views. A short journey over Fort Point Channel led us to the classic cobblestoned walk, where we captured some of my favorite photos of the day with the Boston Harbor Hotel gracing the background.
W&S wanted a gorgeous upscale wedding at the modern Lakeview Pavilion in November. W’s request was for everything to be light. bright and fun, which is exactly what Linda of Lemon Drop Team planned. Lakeview Pavilion was the perfect place to make her dreams come to reality. W got ready inside the bridal suite and then we went outside on the deck to photograph her and her bridesmaids. It was a mild weather year so despite it being mid-November, the beautiful orange and red foliage was still on the trees.
Helen is the younger sister of one of our previous clients from years ago. When she first reached out, we couldn’t have been more excited to work with her! Reuniting with her family was a blast, and meeting Mike's crew was the icing on the cake. Everyone got ready at the Intercontinental, with their huge rooms overlooking Boston Harbor. What began as a drizzly October day eventually became a beautiful afternoon.
Claire and Thomas’ elegant wedding at the State Room in Boston was a beautiful testament to their love story. The day began at the exquisite Langham Hotel in Boston. The couple couldn't have chosen a more fitting place to start their wedding day than at the recently updated and opulently decorated Langham Hotel.
C&K’s wedding at the elegant Newbury Hotel was a true celebration of love, marked by the unique choices they made to create a memorable and heartfelt experience. Bucking tradition, the couple decided to embark on their wedding journey together, opting to get ready side by side. This decision set the tone for the day, allowing them to share intimate moments right from the outset. From the morning preparations to the evening festivities, C&K demonstrated their deep connection and commitment. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as they helped each other with final touches.
The wedding of L&S was steeped in luxury and history with their ceremony at the Old South Meeting House and their reception at the Four Seasons Boston. L&S were prepping for their big day in their separate Four Seasons suites. Sunlight streaming in, a mix of excitement and nerves in the air, and laughter filling the rooms. These candid moments captured their genuine anticipation for the big day. It was an exceptionally hot August day so they decided to have their first look inside the hotel space with their families and friends to witness. It was an emotional reveal for Seb and they had a sweet moment before we took a few photos of family before heading over to the ceremony.
Steph and Luke's wedding was a beautiful and unforgettable event. The couple had a special connection to Boston College, where they met and spent their college years together. They decided to get married at St. Ignatius at Boston College, surrounded by the place where their love story began. The church, with its towering spires and grand architecture, provided the perfect setting for Steph and Luke to exchange their vows.
The Peabody Essex Museum is known for its beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces, and Lisa and Dan chose to take advantage of these picturesque settings for their wedding photos. The museum's spacious lawns and lush gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding portraits, which will be a beautiful reminder of their special day for years to come. The purple florals added a pop of color to the already gorgeous setting, making the day even more memorable.
Lauren + Matt decided to take their time with wedding planning because of the pandemic so they were able to incorporate many elements of Boston into different aspects of their day. They decided to ditch the wedding cake tradition in favor of Boston’s famous Mike’s Pastry cannoli’s instead. They also wrote hand written notes to each of their guests as escort cards to make sure they all knew how grateful they were than they could celebrate with them. Lauren even designed a 6x8’ moss wall as a backdrop to their photo booth!
It’s always wonderful to be at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester rain or shine but this is the first time we’ve experienced such wild weather! There was not only rain but high winds, hail, a blindingly golden sunset and even a purse caught fire! The dramatic weather belied the sweet and even-tempered nature of Sarah and Matt, who brought nothing but love and happiness to their wedding day. Gotta love it when mother nature decides to throw some spice into the mix!
The wedding of A+N was elegance personified. The entire event took place at the Union Club of Boston from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony to the dancing. The Union Club has multiple levels and each event took place on a different floor. The most impressive being the top floor overlooking Boston Common. Founded in 1863, the Union Club has a rich history, which drew A+N to it as the perfect place for their wedding after enjoying it for years as members. The couple’s drive, philanthropy and love for each other make them the perfect match.
Freddy and Steph met at a party at Hamilton College on St. Patrick's Day in 2011. Freddy asked Steph for a photo on the night they met, as if he knew he'd want to remember that moment. They started dating a year later and have been together ever since, doing long distance for nearly half their 9-year relationship. They finally moved in together in Boston in 2018 and after recently becoming homeowners, they both call Boston home.
Alyssa + Chris wanted to have their engagement photos taken in the place most special to them. The Seaport is where they live with their adorable English Bulldog named Peach. We began right outside their home in a little park for some doggy kisses. Next we walked right around the corner to some beautiful cobblestones in between industrial brick buildings. As we walked towards the water, we made a quick stop to photograph the spot where Chris proposed. Finally, we made it to the water, where we climbed the steps of the ICA and explored the Harborwalk. The Seaport is one of my favorite spots to photograph since the architecture looks great year round. Congrats to the happy couple!
After planning a big State Room wedding for a year a half they had to quickly pivot to planning a smaller gathering in Mari's parents backyard. Though they couldn't have the wedding they originally hoped for, they are just happy to still be getting married. They also bought a house two months before their wedding, so it’s been exciting having so many big life events happen all at the same time in the middle of a pandemic!
Danielle and Sam’s wedding was simply the most touching and loving day we’ve seen! It ended up being a roundabout planning process beginning with a big celebration planned at a venue, then it was a smaller wedding planned at their Temple and finally ending up as a micro wedding with just immediate family at the Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester.
Taylor and James are so excited for their wedding and couldn’t wait for their Boston engagement session! Even though they are getting married in Florida, they wanted their engagement session to represent the life they live in the Northeast. We began the session in the Boston Public Gardens. The leaves were a beautiful bright green and the gorgeous weeping willows were just touching swan pond.
Maria and Justin met me for a beautiful walk around Maudslay park in Newburyport. They brought along their goldendoodle puppy named Luna who graced us with her adorable wiggles. Maudslay was in full bloom with bright colors abound. We walked along the wooded paths to the beautiful gardens old past stone bridges and blooming magnolia trees. There was beauty at every turn.
Lauren and Bernie’s State Room Boston wedding was simply put, beautiful and authentic. They could think of no better spot then right in the center of Boston, including the seaport, the financial district and the North End to really feature their home city. They began getting ready at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf in separate rooms. The ladies were busily preparing (with the kids in tow!) with a gorgeous view of the fall foliage out their window. The guys were enjoying their drinks out of custom made tumblers as they got ready. After reading sweet notes to each other, everyone headed off to the ceremony.
