Maggie and Gunnar’s Sunset Farm wedding in Groton was such a relaxed and fun affair. The most important thing for them was that all their family and friends enjoyed themselves! They originally met in college Freshman year at James Madison University. They were originally friends but eventually it turned into something more over that first year. They have been through so much together from college graduations to first jobs and Gunnar was always there to rub her feet after long shifts at the hospital. Maggie has always been his best cheerleader during college football and there to support him as he advances in his career as a software engineer. They made so many stories together and their wedding day was no exception.

The day began with drizzle as everyone was getting ready but the sky quickly lightened just in time for their ceremony. They were wed under a beautiful arbor covered in flowers behind the barn overlooking the fields. Their officiant was their good friend, Marisa, who did an amazing job tying together their two stories. Gunnar was holding back tears as Maggie walked down the aisle, a first look that both of them will surely remember. After their big kiss it was off to cocktail hour. Their details in the barn were just perfect, with a little jar of honey on each table and the most delicious cupcakes. The party really began in earnest after their introductions with so much dancing into the night. Congratulations to the happiest couple who we know will get through anything with a smile and a laugh!
