Julia and Sean will be getting married at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston’s seaport next August so clearly the ocean plays an important role in their lives. They chose to have their engagement session on the Cape since Sean's grandfather has a beautiful home there by the water and it's where they enjoy to spend their summer weekends.

Victoria and Christian’s favorite time of year is Christmas in New York City. They love the holiday lights and the time with family and wanted to recreate that feeling for their engagement session in Boston. So we began photographing at the Boston Public Library for a few quick shots with such a stunning backdrop. Afterward, we then walked to the Fairmont Copley next door to take advantage of their gorgeous Christmas decor. The gold and mirror detailing was exactly the vibe they loved for their wedding that is to take place at the Graduate in Providence.
Last fall, we had the pleasure of photographing Marina and Steve's engagement session at Lars Anderson Park. The park was absolutely stunning at that time of year, with the fall colors in full bloom. The leaves on the trees were a gorgeous array of red, orange, and yellow, making for a beautiful and vibrant backdrop for the couple's photos.
Cara and PJ's engagement session at Maudslay Park was a truly magical experience. Nestled in the heart of Newburyport, Massachusetts, Maudslay Park is a stunning location with sprawling green lawns, picturesque gardens, and breathtaking views.
It was a beautiful summer day in Boston when Madison and Omar arrived at the Public Gardens for their engagement session. The couple was so excited to have their photos taken at such historic and picturesque locations around the Public Gardens, Acorn street on Beacon Hill and the Charles River Esplanade.
Alyssa + Chris wanted to have their engagement photos taken in the place most special to them. The Seaport is where they live with their adorable English Bulldog named Peach. We began right outside their home in a little park for some doggy kisses. Next we walked right around the corner to some beautiful cobblestones in between industrial brick buildings. As we walked towards the water, we made a quick stop to photograph the spot where Chris proposed. Finally, we made it to the water, where we climbed the steps of the ICA and explored the Harborwalk. The Seaport is one of my favorite spots to photograph since the architecture looks great year round. Congrats to the happy couple!
Beautiful location alert! Leah and Will decided they wanted a nautical theme for their engagement session so we decided to go to Marblehead. We began at Crocker Park, where there was a beautiful castle with pretty ivy. We then walked to the water with so many little sailboats dotting the harbor. After that, we took a drive to Castle Rock around the other side of the harbor. The waves were huge and crashing on the rocks as we scaled over to a good vantage of the tumultuous surf.
Ariel and Bruno wanted to commemorate their life in NYC with an engagement session in the city. They are moving back to Massachusetts but have so many wonderful memories in the city! These days, there are very few people out and about so we had free reign without crowds. We began in the seaport to capture the beautiful cobblestone streets and brick buildings. We then walked to the water to get a great view of the Brooklyn bridge lit up in the distance. After that, we headed over to their neighborhood near Battery park. Just as we got there, a summer rain storm came rolling through. Thankfully we got to their apartment just in time for a quick outfit change and to pick up their adorable golden-doodle, Teddy.
I should title this session: beautiful people in beautiful places. Laura and Ed chose the most beautiful place to photograph in Massachusetts: Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. The beauty of the grounds and the elegant manor are truly a sight to see. The Trustees of Reservations manage the property and have preserved its history. We began in the Italian gardens where there were so many flowers in bloom. We then walked down to the Casino hidden under the hill. Finally we made the walk back up to the main house to get the perfect view of the grande allée.
Taylor and James are so excited for their wedding and couldn’t wait for their Boston engagement session! Even though they are getting married in Florida, they wanted their engagement session to represent the life they live in the Northeast. We began the session in the Boston Public Gardens. The leaves were a beautiful bright green and the gorgeous weeping willows were just touching swan pond.
Maria and Justin met me for a beautiful walk around Maudslay park in Newburyport. They brought along their goldendoodle puppy named Luna who graced us with her adorable wiggles. Maudslay was in full bloom with bright colors abound. We walked along the wooded paths to the beautiful gardens old past stone bridges and blooming magnolia trees. There was beauty at every turn.
Jillian and Emmett are truly meant to be. The connection between each other was so lovely that they made my job a breeze! We began walking around the gardens of Elm Bank on a warm afternoon. Jillian and Emmett wore blues to stand out against the lush greens. From there we took the short drive to Wellesley College, where Emmett both attended and now currently works.
Danielle and Sam have the kind happiness together that is contagious - in a good way! When I first saw them for their engagement session, Sam told me he was SO EXCITED FOR PICTURES! I love that feeling of excitement and we had such a fun time going around Fenway. Sam’s family has season tickets so they often are seen at Red Sox games having a blast. After Fenway, we took a quick ride to Beacon Hill. They changed outfits into something a little more fall with the background of Boston brick. Finally we ended at the esplanade right as the sun was setting. I had such a great time spending the afternoon with these two and can’t wait for their wedding taking place at Waverly Oaks next November!
Eddine and Christian picked World’s End as the spot of their engagement session for it’s beautiful views. I warned them ahead of time that it’s lot of walking to fully capture the natural beauty and they were all in. They even showed up in formal wear to go the extra mile! ! They had two incredible outfits and looked effortlessly stunning in every photo. They were helped by the Maid of Honor, Jen, who graciously carried all the clothes around. She definitely wins the MOH of the year award!
Jessica and Truman are such a fun couple and were so excited to have their engagement session at Elm Bank in Wellesley. Jessica is a garment designer so she showed up in a brilliantly colored red dress with matching Louboutin shoes. The pop of red looked amazing among the lush green gardens.
There’s not much I need to say about this gorgeous Newburyport engagement session I had with Robyn and Andrew. The light was perfect, the locations were dreamy, their outfits were on point and their joy shines through in every photo. We began at Maudslay State Park, where the rhododendron trees were in full bloom. Around each corner there was one stunning sight after another.
Lauren and Bernie’s engagement session started off in the picturesque streets of Charlestown, where they live. We took the walk up to the Bunker Hill monument where we soaked in the incredible view of Boston and the Zakim bridge. They were total naturals in front of the camera and lit up with huge smiles whenever they looked at each other.
