Newport will always hold a special place in the hearts of Marisa and Jack since it’s where they first met studying at Salve Regina, where we ended up traveling for some gorgeous portraits. Even though the now live in Napa Valley, it only made sense that they returned to Newport for their wedding. They had their ceremony and reception at the Newport Harbor Island Resort overlooking the beautiful Newport bridge. The sunset over the water was the most spectacular we’ve seen yet!

Ashley and Matt met each other in architecture school and traveled abroad. After a long friendship, they finally began dating after graduation. Matt ended up proposing after thanksgiving dinner during a walk around the Doris Duke's estate in Newport. That was one of Matt's favorite spots after summers spend cliff jumping. It only made sense that they would be married in Newport, where Matt grew up.
Kara and Colin met at Georgetown University, where they made so many friends and also fell in love. Kara is an emergency nurse and Colin works as an emergency management specialist so of course they would approach their wedding with a cool ease while everything was perfectly orchestrated. Colin volunteers as an EMT and on annual Nurse's Appreciation Day, what better way to celebrate them both than with a surprise cake in the shape of an ambulance!
A perfect excuse to visit Newport, Mollie and Mayur's engagement took us to the stunning coastline and on the cobble stoned streets of the city. These two hoteliers ventured from their homes in the Berkshires and will be getting married at the stunning Belle Mer this year. You can tell that Mollie and Mayur have incredible style and I can't wait to see what they bring in October!
