Julia and Sean’s wedding was a day full of personal touches and meaningful moments, set against two iconic Boston locations. The couple met during their time at Babson College, where Sean captained the baseball team and Julia excelled in cross-country and track. Their connection grew through shared activities, mutual friends, and a strong sense of camaraderie.

Claire and Thomas’ elegant wedding at the State Room in Boston was a beautiful testament to their love story. The day began at the exquisite Langham Hotel in Boston. The couple couldn't have chosen a more fitting place to start their wedding day than at the recently updated and opulently decorated Langham Hotel.
C&K’s wedding at the elegant Newbury Hotel was a true celebration of love, marked by the unique choices they made to create a memorable and heartfelt experience. Bucking tradition, the couple decided to embark on their wedding journey together, opting to get ready side by side. This decision set the tone for the day, allowing them to share intimate moments right from the outset. From the morning preparations to the evening festivities, C&K demonstrated their deep connection and commitment. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as they helped each other with final touches.
The wedding of L&S was steeped in luxury and history with their ceremony at the Old South Meeting House and their reception at the Four Seasons Boston. L&S were prepping for their big day in their separate Four Seasons suites. Sunlight streaming in, a mix of excitement and nerves in the air, and laughter filling the rooms. These candid moments captured their genuine anticipation for the big day. It was an exceptionally hot August day so they decided to have their first look inside the hotel space with their families and friends to witness. It was an emotional reveal for Seb and they had a sweet moment before we took a few photos of family before heading over to the ceremony.
Lauren + Matt decided to take their time with wedding planning because of the pandemic so they were able to incorporate many elements of Boston into different aspects of their day. They decided to ditch the wedding cake tradition in favor of Boston’s famous Mike’s Pastry cannoli’s instead. They also wrote hand written notes to each of their guests as escort cards to make sure they all knew how grateful they were than they could celebrate with them. Lauren even designed a 6x8’ moss wall as a backdrop to their photo booth!
Freddy and Steph met at a party at Hamilton College on St. Patrick's Day in 2011. Freddy asked Steph for a photo on the night they met, as if he knew he'd want to remember that moment. They started dating a year later and have been together ever since, doing long distance for nearly half their 9-year relationship. They finally moved in together in Boston in 2018 and after recently becoming homeowners, they both call Boston home.
Alyssa + Chris wanted to have their engagement photos taken in the place most special to them. The Seaport is where they live with their adorable English Bulldog named Peach. We began right outside their home in a little park for some doggy kisses. Next we walked right around the corner to some beautiful cobblestones in between industrial brick buildings. As we walked towards the water, we made a quick stop to photograph the spot where Chris proposed. Finally, we made it to the water, where we climbed the steps of the ICA and explored the Harborwalk. The Seaport is one of my favorite spots to photograph since the architecture looks great year round. Congrats to the happy couple!
After planning a big State Room wedding for a year a half they had to quickly pivot to planning a smaller gathering in Mari's parents backyard. Though they couldn't have the wedding they originally hoped for, they are just happy to still be getting married. They also bought a house two months before their wedding, so it’s been exciting having so many big life events happen all at the same time in the middle of a pandemic!
We drove over to Wellesley to the Gardens at Elm Bank. The rain had stopped by the time we got there so they decided to have the ceremony outside. It was blue skies all the way up until everyone walked down the aisle. As they began their vows, an ominous cloud suddenly came over and began pouring on the guests! We ran to give umbrellas to everyone as they continued their vows. As soon as the rain had come, it suddenly disappeared and out came the sunlight just before the first kiss! It truly was a magical moment that no one will forget.
On May the 4th, Amanda and Michael got married at the Renaissance Boston Patriot’s Place Hotel and had their portraits taken at the nearby cranberry bog. Amanda is a self described "hyper planner". Having worked in the hospitality industry coordinating other people's events for a few years early in her career, she already had a taste for the planning world, so she was excited to turn the tables to work with her future husband and plan an event of her own, including all the extra details for flavor. The date of May 4th wasn't an accident. They love sci-fi in general, so getting married on a Star Wars day (May the "Fourth" be with you) was perfect. This lent well to a "northern lights" theme with sci-fi accents. From the beautiful cake to the Millennium Falcon guest book, everything was perfectly on theme.
You can trust Boston to be cold on January but Debbie and Scott made the whole day brighter with their fantastic wedding that took place on the top floor of the Hyatt overlooking Boston. The day began in their respective suites prepping for the day with their friends and family. The color palette was white, gold and emerald green. It was a color I haven’t often seen and it worked perfectly for an elegant winter wedding.
Jessica began getting ready in her family’s home in Stoneham. She is the only girl with 5 brothers who love to tease her yet are very protective of their sister. Everyone was having a great time in the house as they were making the final preparations. Jessica met Sal as she was walking down the aisle of her family’s church. It’s always great to see when two people are married by someone who knows them. In this case the Priest knew Jessica’s whole family!
Chris and Cristina met at work in New York City. Their proposal story began at the top of a hike in Manchester, Vermont. Cristina was taking pictures of the view on her camera and Chris got down on one knee behind her and simply said, “Cristina” she turned around, “will you marry me?” It was simple, beautiful and perfect.
Jamey and Terra’s State Room Wedding was nothing short of perfect. The weather played in our favor for the whole afternoon where we were able to capture some special moments of Terra and Jamey in Post Office Square and Quincy Market. They said their vows to each other right as the sun had set and dusk fell over the city. Terra and Jamey are two of the most honest and caring people we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. We know they will be happily together forever!
Election Day, 2012 marked the first pre-session for a graduate study abroad intensive in Spain and Morocco. Alyssa and Eric had never met, graduating 4 years apart in undergrad. After some small talk and political banter, they made a friendly wager on the results of the election. Alyssa, the closeted Democrat, lost the bet and owed Eric a vodka y limon once in Spain.
Leia and Matt had their first date in the Seaport where they went to Legal Test Kitchen for dinner, followed by the Atlantic Beer Garden for drinks. Matt wanted to surprise Leia by setting up his proposal by mimicking their date. After the dinner, he proposed to her on a bridge where he had first put his arm around her when she was cold. They then headed to the Atlantic Beer Garden where BearFight was playing and to Leia's surprise, all their family and friends were waiting for them!
Delia and JJ's stunning winter wedding was held at the Hampshire House in Boston on a snowy December day.
If there's one word I can use to describe Lauren and Brian, it's enthusiasm! Brian especially is one of the happiest guys I've ever seen to get married. His expression as Lauren was walking down the aisle was first of awe then of excitement then of pure joy. After the ceremony they were practically dancing down the aisle!
Sam first saw Marilyn on a night out and was immediately smitten. He thought she was beautiful and was dying to get her number. A friend gave it to her and he then invited her out on a bike ride date. Since then they have had two adorable kids! Their wedding day began getting ready in an adjoined suite on the top floor of the Westin. It was an unseasonably warm and sunny October day where and the views from the top were simply stunning!
Emily and Casey have the kind of love that is infectious. When they look at each other and smile, you can't help but smile along with them. Their wedding day began getting ready in Boston, Emily and the Langham Hotel and Casey back at their apartment. The first look was at Post Office Square underneath the trellis. Casey's expression was one of pure joy as Emily proudly showed off her flowy dress and gorgeous shoes. Everyone looked simply stunning.
