Julie and Seth's wedding at Danversport Yacht Club was a dream come true, set against the backdrop of serene waters and breathtaking views. The day began with the ladies getting ready at a picturesque Airbnb in Salem, while the gentlemen prepared at the Salem Waterfront Hotel.
Their paths converged on the lawn overlooking the water, where they shared an intimate moment before heading to Danversport for photos by the harbor. Against a stunning backdrop, they exchanged vows under a gorgeous floral archway, blending sand to symbolize their unity.
The celebration continued with a cocktail hour on the deck, followed by a reception in the Harborview Ballroom. Sweet toasts and heartfelt dances filled the evening, culminating in a joyous celebration of love and new beginnings. The most memorable moment for us was when we snuck out during the sunset to capture them during golden hour by the lighthouse and on the dock, with Danversport behind them. Julie and Seth's wedding was more than just a day; it was a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of unity.
Danversport Wedding Highlight Film
Julie enjoyed finding the perfect pieces and accents for the wedding. They made it personal by incorporating items such as the signature cocktails, the Pittsburgh Cookie Table in honor of Seth's hometown and designing the crest for the invitation! The cocktails, "Hidden Valley Old Fashioned and Strubridge Strawberry Margarita," are named for Seth's family mountain home in Hidden Valley, PA, and Julie's family lake cottage in Sturbridge, MA. Some notable cookies are the Pittsburgh sports logos, the sign Julie's dad made that hangs at the lake house ("Paradise Point"), the Vizsla dogs (one collar reads Moose, one reads Tiger for our new puppy), and Penn State (our common alma mater, but before we knew each other!) The crest on the invites is the shape of the Cookie Table mirror sign, the florals are Julie's bouquet, the ship wheel is Danversport's logo, the monogram is the cake topper, and most importantly, the antlers at the top signify Moose, the pup who brought them together at the cookout by eating Julie’s veggie burger. The ceremony sand, if we go that route, will come from Jordan Lake, where they got engaged.
