Katie and Matt were originally planning a grand wedding at the Bradley Estate in Canton. When they had to adjust their plans, they wanted a more intimate outdoor wedding with amazing food. They found SRV Boston in the south end and it was perfect for their closest friends and families. Katie began getting ready at the Intercontinental Boston in a beautiful light-filled room. Matt got ready at their apartment in Fenway with a sweeping view of the river.
They first saw each other as Katie was walking down the aisle with twinkle lights above the courtyard. Their good friend was the one who married them, which made the ceremony all the more special. After breaking the glass and a kiss, they were wed! They had their cocktail hour outside on the patio as we took photos in the courtyard and around the restaurant with beautiful brick and stone details. One of the best parts of having your wedding at a restaurant is that the food was out of this world! It was a joyful reception with loving toasts all around.
After the reception was over, we headed over to MIT for some portraits. It had begun raining but that didn’t matter at MIT, where we could take photos under the white columns. This wedding was such a wonderful experience for everyone and we are constantly in awe of how micro weddings that were planned last minute end up being so perfect!
