Danversport Yacht Club Wedding
Lisa and Alex make for a beautiful couple and their marriage was the final seal to combine their families. With Armenian, Greek and Albanian roots. They got ready separately then saw each other as Lisa walked down the aisle at the St. James Armenian Church in Watertown. They had a traditional ceremony with crowns and blessings from both the Orthodox and Roman Catholic priests. Once they were wed we all traveled to the Danversport Yacht Club for their reception.
The weather was threatening thunderstorms but it didn’t rain once the whole day. In fact, it was a beautiful summers evening overlooking the bay. Cocktail hour took place outside then everyone went into the large main ballroom for the reception. The night was filled with traditional dances where everyone was around in a circle practicing their best moves. Our favorite moment was during dinner when there was the most amazing sunset. Lisa and Alex stole away outside on the balcony to enjoy some time to themselves in the peace and quiet while reflecting on their perfect day.
HOW HE PROPOSED
Alex proposed to Lisa in Rome on their first night there during a vacation. After dinner they took a cab to the bridge by Castel Sant'Angelo where he was originally was going to propose, but there were more people than he thought so they walked over towards the Vatican. The street leading up to the Vatican was deserted, so that is where he popped the question. They then spent 10 days exploring Italy newly engaged and full of joy!
