Leah and Rich got married on a beautiful summery Saturday in June at the Royal Sonesta Boston. They began getting ready in separate rooms - both were having a great time with their bridal parties and were nothing but excited to begin the day. Once we were ready for the first look, we went down the elevators and in the time it took to get to the lobby, the sky had opened up to a surprise shower! We waited a few minutes then went outside. We spent the time taking photos looking out to the beautiful view before coming back inside for the ceremony.
The ceremony space was set up with a chuppah encircled in beautiful flowers with the ketubah on the side that was signed the day before. Rich was walked down the aisle by his parents and Leah by hers. They stood under the chuppah together supporting the couple as they spoke their vows. With a break of the glass and a kiss, they were whisked off to the cocktail hour. Their reception was very lively with tons of dancing and a hora to top it off. What a beautiful, emotional and fun day for all!
ENGAGEMENT STORY
They were in Massachusetts visiting Leah's family for a few days last July with a couple of days scheduled on the Vineyard for just the two of them. After spending the day at Leah's favorite beach, Rich suggested that they go to dinner alone at Granite Links golf course which was one of Leah's favorite places because of the beautiful view of Boston and Leah had wanted to take Rich there because he loves to golf. Little did she know that Rich had arranged for a special evening. After having a beautiful dinner out on their patio watching the sunset over the Boston skyline, Rich got down on one knee and proposed. After Leah said yes and they celebrated, Rich surprised Leah by having both of their parents and brothers their to celebrate with them. The family celebration continued throughout the weekend with more members of the family and then they celebrated together on the Vineyard.
