Mary and Dylan had a fabulous summer Tupper Manor wedding, despite it getting off to a bit of a rocky start. Dylan was biking in the early morning and took a tumble, resulting in a broken wrist! After a few hours spent in the hospital, he was released with a very discreet black splint. Forgoing any pain meds so he could be in the moment, he was ready to go and arrived at Tupper Manor with plenty of time to spare before the ceremony. What a trooper!
Mary was anxious to see him, hoping he was ok and that he could still make it to the ceremony on time. As soon as he arrived, they had their first look on the wooded pathway behind the Manor. All her fears melted away when she saw how Dylan was all smiles and excited for the day. After a few photos, the were tucked away as guests arrived in preparation for their ceremony in front of the fountain on the lawn.
Mary kept a coin originally taken from Ireland by her grandfather as he made the voyage across the sea. She then made the walk from the manor to the aisle, flanked on either side by her parents. Mary and Dylan wrote letters to each other that they placed in a beautiful wooden wine box, to be opened on their first anniversary. With a kiss, they were off to their cocktail hour.
Spending time with their family and friends was a top priority and they all danced and had a wonderful time with their loved ones. We were able to steal them away one more time right as the sun was setting for the short walk to the beach. It was then they could take a deep breath and truly be in the moment knowing they were now husband and wife. Such an elegant and beautiful summer Tupper Manor wedding that we won't soon forget!
