Alyssa and Brendan met on a camping trip to Saco, Maine the summer after freshmen year of college. Alyssa's college roommate invited her to come for the weekend with her high school friends and introduced her to Brendan. Alyssa played really hard to get but ended up falling for Brendan’s sweet charm.

After nearly 6 years together, Brendan popped the question in Newport, RI. One of their favorite places. It was a very rainy day in October, Brendan insisted on taking a weekend trip to Newport since Alyssa had been very busy at work. The weekend came and so did the rain. Brendan said he really wanted to see a schooner that would be sailing through Narragansett Bay. It was raining so hard they couldn't see in front of them but Brendan made her get out of the car, in the pouring rain and popped the question. He followed that up with another surprise with all of their closest family and friends waiting at their favorite spot in Newport, O'Brien's Pub.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for Alyssa and Brendan on their wedding day. The two of them were surrounded by so much love from friends and family. They had their ceremony at St. Anne’s Church in Gloucester. They followed that up with portrait photos at Stage Fort park and then it was off to their venue at the Danversport Yacht Club.
