Two different families merged during this wedding which incorporated both Vietnamese and western traditions. We began with a tea ceremony and an exciting lion dance at the house of Tram and Ben. The delicious food was brought by Ben's family and prepared by Tram's for the meal shared by the newly joined families.
Later on that day, everyone traveled to the Saphire Estate where Tram and the bridesmaids changed out of the traditional Vietnamese outfits into pink bridesmaids dresses and Tram's stunning white gown. The weather was mercurial but the rain held off with spots of sun shining through. The ceremony was so touching and the words spoken were echoed in the toasts during the reception.
Ben and Tram may not yearn to be the center of attention but their love for one another stole the show. There were moments when Tram was overcome by joyful tears only to look at Ben and gain strength. These two have tremendous work ethic, kindness and love for family as their foundation. They even bought their first house together a few years after college, an incredible feat this day in age! When they first walked into their new home, Ben turned around and proposed. They truly found the perfect match in one another!
