This wedding was rich with details. It should come to no surprise given this couples artistic background, a seamless continuation of Ksenia & Filipe's engagement session done just last May. Ksenia curated every last detail with care, crafting a beautiful theme of adventure and travel. It was only fitting as Ksenia, originally from Russia, and Filipe from Brazil, blend together cultures which at first seem so different yet share so much in common. They are both welcoming, from the heart, and put family above all else (well, maybe food and drink comes a very close second). One thing is certain, they love each other deeply and live their lives with passion!
The day began with champagne and craft beers and ended with homemade cranberry vodka, a Russian specialty. They had their first look at the Brattle Book Shop and we then headed to Fan Pier with the bridal party. After a stroll along the waterfront, we were off to Post Office Square for their ceremony. They were married by their close friend Misha who delivered such a sweet and personal ceremony that you would never have guest it was his first day on the job.
The party headed over to Central Bistro, in Downtown Crossing, where the cocktail hour was exceptionally set and signature drinks were ones to remember. The reception was a stream of heartfelt toasts from family and friends from across the world. The night finished off with a bright sparkler sendoff right in the middle of the city street. We swear - the party ended there. There was no wild dancing in the hotel suite to 90s hits late into the night. Did we mention the homemade cranberry vodka?
