Knowing Jillian for even a short time has taught us a lot about who she is. Loving, hilarious and oh so much energy! It's only fitting that Mike's calm is her perfect complement. When they first went out for drinks then dinner, they instantly had a connection. He proposed to her right after the 4th of July fireworks on the Cape. Jillian was hoping to find some sparklers and also received a moment she would never forget.
Chatham is a special place to them filled with wonderful memories of the beach, the town and sharing fun experiences with their friends and family. Their traditional catholic ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Cape in Brewster. Afterwards a trolley took us first to Pleasant Bay then to Chatham Light and finally to main street Chatham. At each stop we jumped off, took a few photos then hurried back inside the warmth of the trolley. The crisp fall air was definitely making itself known but the entire bridal party were troopers running around to all the locations.
Finally we arrived back to the Chatham Bars Inn for the start of cocktail hour and the reception. The band, Groove Authority, really got the night going with the whole crowd piled on the dance floor all the way until the end asking for an encore. With a final toss of her bouquet, the night was put on pause just long enough so that everyone could make their way over to the after party. What an exciting night to remember!
