There's something profoundly special about capturing the wedding of dear friends. When Bojan, a friend of nearly a decade, asked us to photograph his wedding with the stunning Laura, we didn't hesitate for a moment. It doesn't hurt at all that Laura is a professional model and the connection they share has been truly special since day one. We began getting ready at Laura's family home in Southhampton. Laura and Bojan opted out of the traditional route and chose to get ready together in the same house.

Their closeness and respect for each other's opinion went even so far as having Bojan help pick out Laura's dress to make the decision as a couple. After some family photos at Laura's grandfather's backyard, we drove to St. George's Orthodox Church in Springfield. Bojan is was born in Bosnia and wanted to have priests from the Serbian church marry them in a traditional ceremony. The church was beautiful and we couldn't resist taking some photos after the ceremony of the couple with the ornate icons as a backdrop. Laura's intricate golden veil was reminiscent of the Madonna as she gracefully posed on the altar.

Afterwards, we headed to the Log Cabin in Holyoke for their reception. We took a few photos overlooking the beautiful mountains before moving inside for some refreshments and canapés. They had their romantic first dance and heartfelt speeches before dinner service began. The highlight was the incredible sunset that began halfway through he reception. All the guests came outside to witness the sky light up with pinks, oranges, reds and purples with the vibrant sun setting over the mountains. At twilight, we all went back inside to dance to the live Serbian band, Sasa Minic Music, mixed with DJ Pat Birrell. The beauty and the loving fun vibes of the day were truly unforgettable.
