Elegant Crane Estate Wedding in Ipswich

Julia and Mike had the most picturesque wedding day imaginable. Picture this: it’s your wedding day and you’re watching the sunset on the rooftop after your ceremony on the grand allée of the Crane Estate. You’re about to head to your reception when you realize you forgot to practice your first dance in your dress! No time like the present so you whip out the phone playlist and have a moment together laughing and taking it all in. Despite a jam-packed day, Julia and Mike were so relaxed and enjoyed every second of their glamorous wedding. Photographers know what a dream the Crane Estate is to capture and we were thrilled with so many iconic shots. Planned to perfection by Elegant Aura, our hearts are full.

deCordova Wedding in Lincoln

S&M had an incredible wedding weekend with everything taking place in Lincoln Massachusetts, the location of their home. S&M got ready at their beautiful home, surrounded by their two families, their sweet baby, two well-behaved dogs, and their lounging cat. S put on her gorgeous dress, which was the perfect design for a garden wedding with intricate floral work. They opted to not have a very traditional day, so they got ready together and then headed over to the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, a short 5-minute drive away.

Crane Estate Engagement Session

I should title this session: beautiful people in beautiful places. Laura and Ed chose the most beautiful place to photograph in Massachusetts: Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. The beauty of the grounds and the elegant manor are truly a sight to see. The Trustees of Reservations manage the property and have preserved its history. We began in the Italian gardens where there were so many flowers in bloom. We then walked down to the Casino hidden under the hill. Finally we made the walk back up to the main house to get the perfect view of the grande allée.

Stephanie + Billy | Crane Estate Wedding

Their wedding day began with some threatening forecasts of rain. It was disappointing to think that we wouldn't be able to go outside and take advantage of the beautiful grounds. Thankfully the rain finally stopped and 5 minutes before the ceremony began and they chose to move from the tent to the lawn. It was a real team effort with the kitchen staff and coordinators rearranging the chairs and me and Jovan moving the flowers. Jovan and I even doubled as flower girls spreading the petals moments before they walked down the aisle! It was totally worth it to make Stephanie and Billy's dream come true of getting married looking over the allée of the Crane Estate!
