Election Day, 2012 marked the first pre-session for a graduate study abroad intensive in Spain and Morocco. Alyssa and Eric had never met, graduating 4 years apart in undergrad. After some small talk and political banter, they made a friendly wager on the results of the election. Alyssa, the closeted Democrat, lost the bet and owed Eric a vodka y limon once in Spain.

Yasmine and Osama have a complicated story about their engagement session. They originally scheduled it in Calgary, but forest fires caused it not to happen at all. Not to be deterred, they decided that if the mountains wouldn’t work out then they could capture a beautiful city-scape of Boston in the fall. Little did they know that unpredictable New England weather would almost ruin their plans!
I met Margaret and Colin on a picture perfect day in the Boston Common gardens. The sun was shining, the flowers were in bloom and we had the perfect afternoon to explore! We walked around the swan pond and then made our way over to the iconic Acorn street. After a few photos on the cobblestones, we headed over to the esplanade to catch the last part of the beautiful sunset over the water.
This story is proof that these two were meant to be. Collette contacted us a couple months ago to capture her surprise proposal to her girlfriend Threisy. Right after the snowstorm, the Boston Public Garden was a winter wonderland, which made it even more special since this was Collette's first time seeing snow.
Collette got down on one knee and of course Threisy said yes but there was something up her sleeve as well. She gave Collette a large box that opened up to a series of smaller ones, the smallest containing a ring, inscribed with "Will you Marry Me?" Who would have thought that they both planned on proposing on exactly the same day! What an incredible story that we were thrilled to be a part of. Who proposed first? That's for these two to figure out ;)
We had the honor of photographing the classy black tie wedding of a very special couple in a place and date that means so much to them. They first met at Boston College and had their first date on October 17th. 7 years later to the day, they are tied the knot at the gorgeous Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in the heart of Boston College.
After the ceremony, they exited with style from a white handkerchief sendoff to a classic 1955 Thunderbird. After a quick stop at Linden Lane in front of Gasson Hall, we drove to their reception at Alden Castle. The rest of the night was filled with laughs and impressive dance moves!
