Boston Public Library Wedding
S+R had the most elegant spring wedding day that was just so classically Boston. They began getting ready at the Lenox Hotel overlooking the hustle and bustle of Boylston street. I loved the details of the gold leaf invitation and the creative library book card save-the-date. The flowers were absolutely stunning and the soft pink and white peonies gave the feeling of spring. When everyone was dressed and ready, we headed out to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral. They had their sweet ceremony and we all rode back to the reception at the Boston Public Library.
Our first stop was the courtyard, where we took all the wedding party and family photos. Then we were able to explore all the best location in the library. From the balcony to the staircase to the famed Bates Hall. The BPL is one of my favorite locations in all of Boston for its incredible detail and architectural elements. Inside the reception space, it was decorated with fresh cherry tree branches, a centerpiece that I’ve never seen before! They made their entrance and then the reception really kicked off. Before we left, we took one final night shot outside the building that was so beautifully lit up. Such a magical evening!
