Boston Park Plaza Wedding

Ariel and Bruno’s story began in New York City but their hearts were always in Boston. They chose to have their wedding reception at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel for it’s central location and classical splendor. They got ready in the rooms overlooking the cityscape, laughing and enjoying the preparations. They had their first look and even included their adorable puppy, Teddy in some photos. We then walked over to the Public Gardens where we took a tour around Swan Pond. Ariel looked amazing in her Pnina Tornai gown and lush bouquet from Kerianne Nelson Flora.

Afterwards we traveled the short way to their ceremony at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in the south end. It was a gorgeous ceremony in such a grand place. With a kiss and a cheer out the doors of the church, we were off. We made a quick stop at the steps of the Boston Public Library for some amazing city photos. Finally we made our way back to the Boston Park Plaza for the start of cocktail hour. The doors opened for a grand reveal showing the incredible décor at the reception. The centerpieces were amazing works of art and the band was playing to escort all the guest into their seats. Ariel is a professional dancer so we knew the first dance was going to be a spectacle and she did not disappoint! We had such an amazing time the rest of the night - they even had a live painter! We are wishing Ariel and Bruno a lifetime of dancing, laughter and sweet puppy kisses.

HOW THEY MET

You never know what can happen on a night out in New York City! It just so happened that Ariel & Bruno met through friends whom were craving Indian food for dinner. Ariel's friend Gracie was dining at her favorite Indian spot in the Upper East Side with her husband. As they were waiting for their table, Bruno and his friend were also at the same local restaurant. They all began chatting and decided to get a table for 4. By the end of the night, Gracie encouraged Bruno to ask Ariel out on a date.

A few days later they met for the very first time and the rest is history!

ENGAGEMENT STORY

They were heading out to Long Island to look at wedding venues for Bruno's sister, Anna. They had a day planned of getting breakfast and then seeing a winery as a possible location for her wedding to take place. The three of them had a glass of wine at the bar and then decided to go out for a walk towards a beautiful cliff overlooking water. As they were walking, Anna stopped to take a phone call (now looking back it was for her to sneak off and take pictures of what was about to happen). Bruno and Ariel continued to walk towards the water. As they were looking out, Ariel heard Bruno say "Can I ask you something crazy?" She turned around to find him on one knee. After saying yes, she looked up to see all their parents running towards them. Ariel was in complete shock! They then went to another winery where Ariel was surprised with all of their friends from NYC to join in on the celebrations!
