Hammond Castle Gloucester Wedding
Danielle and Sam’s wedding was simply the most touching and loving day we’ve seen! It ended up being a roundabout planning process beginning with a big celebration planned at a venue, then it was a smaller wedding planned at their Temple and finally ending up as a micro wedding with just immediate family at the Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester.
They began getting ready at the Beauport hotel overlooking the cool ocean. The crisp feel of fall was in the air without being too cold. To get the ball rolling on the emotions for the day, they each read letters to each other, which resulted in tears on both sides. After getting dressed, we headed over to Hammond Castle for their first look. The first look took place in the great hall, which was the perfect backdrop for Danielle’s long train and gorgeous lace veil. The moment they shared was truly perfect and so joyous - with some more tears of course. We then spent some time taking photos around the castle before their Ketubah signing.
The ketubah represents the official wedding contract, which is signed by two witnesses. After signing, they began the ceremony. Both Sam’s parents and Danielle’s parents walked them down the aisle and they then shared all the traditional moments under the chuppah. With some more tears, the breaking of the glass and then a kiss, they were officially wed! It’s always wonderful being a part of the best day of people’s lives and this was no exception. There may not have been an official hora but they managed to get enough people together to lift up Danielle on the chair. What a perfect day to remember!
