Nancy + Eugene | Fruitlands Museum Wedding
Nancy and Eugene met while Eugene was a chief resident and Nancy was in her first year of residency. They ended up spending a lot of time together and realized how much they had in common. They continued to keep each other intellectually challenged while taking time to enjoy the journey-- and laughing a lot :)
Eugene proposed on a night that Nancy was on-call (Eugene had ordered the engagement ring, and could not wait to propose when it arrived). Nancy had just come home from her late night call and was still in scrubs. Eugene tried to bring her out for a romantic dinner he had planned, but Nancy was so exhausted and wouldn't budge from the couch. Eugene also wouldn't budge on proposing, he knelt down in front of Nancy and proposed.
Their beautiful ceremony took place at the Fruitlands Museum over looking the hills. They decided to integrate both catholic and Jewish traditions for their wedding day with a Rabbi and Nancy's Uncle Dan as officiants. The day was perfect with a gorgeous golden sunset that all the guests could enjoy. Throughout the day there were so many moments for Nancy and Eugene that held a special place in their hearts. Congratulations to Nancy and Eugene we wish you the best!
