Caitlin and Leo got engaged in Copenhagen by the Little Mermaid statue while on a trip with Leo’s family. Copenhagen is a special place for them because Caitlin spent 2 months there during their Junior year at WPI. Leo flew out to meet her at the end of the school year and spent 2 weeks traveling together around Europe. It was their first trip together, which was an amazing experience and made them grow closer.

They had their ceremony and reception at the Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton. It was a crisp fall day and they were lucky enough to be able to have their ceremony outside just as the sun was setting. They wrote their own vows to each other, which were so personal and gave us a glimpse into their fun, complementary and often nerdy personalities. They really are two peas in a pod! We were able to catch some lovely shots in front of the barn and a gorgeous golden leafed tree. Their reception was all about heartwarming toasts and fun dancing. The band turned it up a notch and had everyone on the dance floor until the last song. We were so lucky to be a part of their beautiful fall wedding day!
