Terra + Jamey | The State Room Boston Wedding

Jamey and Terra’s State Room Wedding was nothing short of perfect. The weather played in our favor for the whole afternoon where we were able to capture some special moments of Terra and Jamey in Post Office Square and Quincy Market. They said their vows to each other right as the sun had set and dusk fell over the city. The most memorable time of the night were the speeches, especially Terra’s father. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house and we even found ourselves crying along with everyone else. Terra and Jamey are two of the most honest and caring people we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. We know they will be happily together forever!

HOW THEY MET

Jamey and Terra met in high school when they joined the crew team. Terra was a coxswain on the boys’ team and Jamey became the stroke of the boat. Meaning, Jamey sat right in front of Terra and listened to Terra coach the boat. They’re coach was constantly telling everyone not to date on the team so they tried to keep their relationship a secret. They soon found out that everyone had known all along! They both went to Clemson after High School and absolutely loved it. Neither of them ever thought they would end up marrying their high school sweetheart but sometimes destiny takes over.

HOW HE PROPOSED

Terra and Jamey were at Atlantis in the Bahamas on my family’s annual tradition Christmas time vacation. Terra’s dad suggested taking family photos down on the beach before going out to a nice dinner. While at the beach, Jamey and Terra were setting up to take a photo together when instead Jamey grabbed her hands and began to propose! The whole beach cheered when Terra said yes and it was perfect. Jamey successively pulled off the surprise he always wanted.
