Jill + Matt | Hyatt Regency Cambridge Wedding

Jill and Matt's wedding was simply put, classic and timeless. From their beautifully decorated ceremony and reception to their bridal party's attire, everything was absolutely perfect. We instantly fell in love with the gold and navy color theme, with a slight hint of their favorite movie, Up!

This couple's story started a long, long time ago. They both met way back in 8th grade. Jill was in love with Matt, but Matt being a typical young boy and didn't realize it. After sharing a locker together, and a few "dates" to the movies, Jill moved on to a life in the big city of New York City. When Jill had returned, they reconnected over lunch at Anna's Taqueria. They started hanging out more and more, and then began dating. Now, six years later, after lots of pizza, trips to NYC, a dog, and lots of adventures, they are married!

Jill and her doting ladies started the day off getting their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite of the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, while the men put their finishing touches on in the William Garrison Room down the hall. We made sure to capture every last sparkly detail.

Jill and Matt's ceremony took place at the Riverside Pavilion at the Hyatt Regency. Their officiant and honored guests shared special moments and memories as they read their vows to each other. After they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, their guests showered them with confetti to celebrate their newly found nuptials.

After a few quick photos with family in the courtyard, we all gathered in the hotel's shuttle and headed over to the always classic Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to take a few bridal party portraits.

When we returned back to the Hyatt Regency, it was time to start the reception! All the details were set perfectly, from the oversized Mr. & Mrs. balloons to the gold sugar coated champagne toasting glasses. Jill and Matt shared their first dance among guests. As they sat down to share their first course, their maid of honor and best man shared their heart-warming, yet hilarious toasts to the couple.

After everyone had a chance to partake in the photo booth, we headed over to the elevators to take some creative portraits of Jill and Matt. It wouldn't be a true creative session if we didn't bring out the drone for some awesome video footage.

Next, it was time to head to the dance floor! Jill and Matt showed some killer dance moves as they danced the night away with their closest friends and family.
